Job summary

The NFL Digital Media division in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Part-Time Segment Producer to support live studio shows for both digital and linear platforms. Reporting to a Senior Producer, you will craft segment concepts, write and edit on-air content, and coordinate with hosts and analysts under tight deadlines.

This role requires 5+ years in studio production, strong sports knowledge, and excellent editorial judgment. It is onsite only, with no remote or hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively complex studio production or related experience.
• Strong production skills related to sporting events and graphics.
• Strong knowledge of live television production dynamics and control room technologies.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of assignments with little prep time.
• Supervisory experience with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent writing and copy-editing skills.
• Knowledge of television graphics.
• Technical knowledge of what works on television and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produce content for live studio shows on streaming platforms.
• Generate and research content ideas and graphics.
• Adjust segment content for breaking news situations.
• Coordinate with on-air staff to write accurate content for segments.
• Apply sports knowledge and news judgment to segment agendas.
• Oversee segments from development to execution.
• Work with hosts and analysts on segment development.
• Provide creative and editorial notes for high-end production.
• Preview video and sound for assigned segments.
• Communicate detailed edit notes to editors and associate producers.
• Share daily story development with the Producer.
• Pitch ideas and plan next-day stories.
