Qualifications

• Strong writing and copy-editing skills.
• Experience with live studio TV and streaming platforms.
• Ability to produce under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce a wide range of content for live studio shows on streaming platforms.
• Generate and research content ideas and graphics.
• Adjust segment content to accommodate breaking news situations.
• Coordinate with on-air staff to write accurate and informative content for assigned segments.
• Apply strong sports knowledge and news judgment to determine the agenda, concepts, and content of the assigned segments.
• Oversee individual segments from development through execution.
• Work with hosts and analysts on segment and element development.
• Assign and provide creative and editorial notes for high-end element production.
• Preview video and sound for assigned segments.
• Communicate detailed edit notes and instructions to editors and associate producers.
• Communicate daily story development with the Producer.
• Pitch story ideas and participate in the planning and development of next-day stories.
