Job summary

Advanced Systems Group LLC in New York is seeking a Control Room Technician to create and operate livestream broadcasts, serving as Image Operator/AD, Carousel Operator, Xpression Operator, Remote Coordinator, or Prompter. This on-site, flex role is based in Midtown Manhattan.

You will work with OBS, Xpression, AWS MediaLive to ensure high-quality streams, maintain tracking documents, and collaborate with producers to handle requests and changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Advanced experience with OBS software.
• Experience in television, film, or postproduction.
• Basic computer knowledge and multitasking ability.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create and operate all livestream broadcasts across assigned shows.
• Maintain and update tracking documents for broadcasts.
• Collaborate daily with the producer team to manage requests and changes.
• Add ASINs/SKU information to broadcasts and manage channel access.
• Monitor livestreams for audio, video, captions, lip sync and stability.
• Set up encoders and apps such as Restream, AWS MediaLive, and Cloud tools.
• Develop SOPs for daily functions and new developments.
