Job summary

PENN Interactive is seeking a data-driven risk-and-trading professional to manage live betting markets in a fast-paced North American environment. You will adjust odds, monitor exposure, and make liability-aware decisions while collaborating with a skilled team.

The role supports flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic entertainment and gaming company.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a field such as mathematics, business or analytical disciplines.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a trading environment or assessing risk in finance/insurance is advantageous.
• Good sports betting knowledge and strong interest in betting and odds.
• Data obsessed with excellent mathematical skills and strong analytical ability.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Strong initiative and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage live betting markets in real time across assigned sports/events.
• Adjust odds proactively based on game state, injuries, cards, and market movement.
• Execute liability-aware decisions including price moves and market suspensions.
• Ensure pricing is competitive vs key operators.
• Operate within event templates and market tiers and adjust as needed.
• Monitor sharp or arbitrage activity and respond accordingly.
• Use internal tools to track exposure and performance.
• Contribute to live trading improvements and process optimization.
