Job summary

RWS Global is seeking an A/V Operator/Technician – Sound to manage audio systems on Azamara ships. You will mix and operate events, perform maintenance, and collaborate with lighting and video teams to ensure high-quality performances.

The role requires a theatre/production background and at least one year in AV roles, with shipboard experience preferred. Flexible contract dates support varied crew schedules onboard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre (Production or Technical) or equivalent work exp.
• Minimum 1 year in audio-visual functions within upscale venues or cruise environments.
• Shipboard experience preferred but not required; digital mixing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sound systems for rehearsals, shows, and events.
• Design and implement sound designs; create backup vocal tracks when needed.
• Set up projection of films and media playback; support show installations and changeovers.
• Collaborate with A/V team and guest entertainers to review audio requirements.
