Job summary

Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas is seeking a Theatre/Entertainment Technician to ensure day-to-day operation of venues, shows and events. You will support show quality, safety and guest experience by operating show control, lighting, audio, video, and related systems.

You will conduct startup and shutdown, complete pre/post show presets, document activities, and coordinate with Leads and management. 1+ year theatre or stage tech experience required; Q-Sys and Dante certifications

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a Theatre or Stage Technician environment.
Preferred certifications include Q-Sys Level 1 or 2, Q-Sys Control Training 201 and Control & UCI Fundamentals Certification.
Experience with Dante or similar audio networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate lighting, audio, show controls and special effects in live shows.
Ensure proper show timing and element cues as directed by show direction and training.
Conduct daily startup, checks and shutdown for venues to verify readiness.
Maintain equipment, prep gear, and assist in inventory and repairs as needed.
Communicate resource needs and timelines to Leads and management; document activities.
