Las Vegas, NV — MGM Resorts International invites applications for a Food Runner at the Nine Fine Irishmen pub inside New York, New York. You will deliver dishes with enthusiasm, describe menu items to guests, and assist the restaurant team in maintaining high hospitality standards.

The position starts at $15.2156 per hour plus tips, with weekend and holiday shifts required. Previous high-volume dining or resort experience is preferred to join a dynamic show-ready team.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server preferred.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Mansioni

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
• Perform assigned open and closing side-work
• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area
