MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Food Runner for Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay to connect kitchen and dining room, delivering a high-energy fine dining experience. You will describe dishes, assist the team, and ensure timely service while maintaining the steakhouse atmosphere.

Starting rate is $14.8742 per hour plus tips, with weekends and holidays required. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-class guest experience in a dynamic casino resort environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ Months of prior relevant experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar Steakhouse environment as a Food Runner or Server preferred

Aufgaben

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
• Perform assigned open and closing side-work
• Communicate needs of the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reaction and comments assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area
