Job summary

Resorts World New York City is seeking a Food Runner to expedite the dining process by running food orders from the POS and assisting the wait staff in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.

You will deliver orders to guests, present items by seat, and carry a tray of hot and cold foods while liaising with the kitchen to ensure order accuracy. Must be 18+, have a Tips Certification, and bring prior hospitality experience to a busy casino setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain the appropriate license.
• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
• Some hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Must obtain a Tips Certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food orders to guests in a full-service restaurant.
• Presents items by seat position according to the ticket.
• Carries an oval tray in a traditional style restaurant containing hot and cold food items.
• Expedites kitchen line in the absence of the Expo.
• Provides excellent service to guests.
• Maintains restaurant service standards.
• Ensures a smooth and efficient operation.
• Communicates with kitchen to ensure tickets are filled correctly.
• Ensures the quality and accuracy of every order is fulfilled.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
