Job summary

Salem Media has an immediate opening for a part-time Board-Operator to produce live and recorded radio programs and podcasts, and to ensure formats are carried as designed by management.

Proficiency with Windows-based systems is required; Wide Orbit or similar automation experience is preferred. Candidates should be flexible, available for weekends and some weekdays, and capable of multi-tasking in a busy broadcast environment.

Qualifications

• Windows-based computer skills required.
• Experience with automation systems (Wide Orbit or similar) preferred.
• College background preferred but not required.
• Flexibility, weekend and some weekday availability.

Responsibilities

• Producing live and recorded radio programs and podcasts.
• Executing format as designed by management and maintaining logs.
• Operating control boards and remote broadcast equipment; screening calls.
• Post items on social media and handle various audio production duties.
