Job summary

ASC Advisors LLC seeks a Camp Director to own and elevate all summer camp operations at Zilker Park. You will lead program delivery, safety protocols, and vendor management for 10-day sessions, with on-site housing during sessions.

You will recruit and coach a team of 40–50 seasonal staff, partner with HR, ensure ACA/DSHS compliance, and drive year-round camper recruitment through community partnerships and data-driven program improvements.

Qualifications

• Must live on-site at camp in Zilker Park when camp is in session.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• 4+ years experience in camp leadership or related role.
• 2+ years of people leadership.
• Ability to establish priorities, develop reports and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Certifications and background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full life cycle of Zilker camp sessions, including opening/closing rituals and safety protocols.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and inspire a seasonal staff team of 40–50.
• Direct daily operations, facilities upkeep, kitchen services, and emergency protocols.
• Drive camper recruitment and community engagement year-round.
• Use data to elevate programming and staff training.
• Oversee camp budget, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Design and deliver CIT curriculum and mentorship for youth.
