Job summary

Methodist Home for Children in Winton, NC is seeking Direct Support Staff to provide 24/7 guidance in our multipurpose home. You will mentor youth, support daily activities, and help develop life skills to foster positive change. The role requires living onsite during your shift and adapting to a 3-4 day/nights schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• High school diploma required; experience working with youth (ages 11-17) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to live onsite while on shift (3 days/nights in a row), including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with youth, families, and community partners to create long-term success plans.
