Job summary

University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Area Coordinator for Campus Living to manage day-to-day operations of two residential halls, supervise staff, and support program development. The AC reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Life and Education and must live on campus with after-hours responsibilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and knowledge of housing processes, with preferred Master's degree and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Experience and knowledge of property management or university housing processes and administration.
Master's degree with emphasis in Higher Education (preferred) and experience in University Housing processes and administration.
1–2 years of professional housing/residential life work experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Coordinate check-in and checkout of residents, including room changes for assigned hall(s).
Supervise all assigned resident assistants and lobby managers.
Maintain accurate records for residence hall key audits and paperwork.
Review semester occupancy reports with the Assistant Director for Residential Life and Education.
Oversee summer camp and conference and liaison to requestors.
Provide safety, security, and training responsibilities for the assigned apartment complex.
Serve in on-call rotation for Campus Living.
Assist in roommate/suitemate conflict mediations.
Participate in Campus Living staff training committees and training schedules.
Recruit, select, and train all building staff (RA, GA, and Campus Living Office staff).
Coordinate coverage for Campus Living Office and manage social media for GAs and residents.
