Job summary

Montclair State University is looking for a skilled vMix Operator to serve as the technical production engine for NJ PBS. In this role, you will direct and deliver daily video-based news segments, ensuring broadcast-ready quality while managing complex productions independently.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of broadcast production experience, with strong proficiency in vMix software and an understanding of video/audio standards. Comprehensive benefits are offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in broadcast television production.
• Hands-on proficiency with vMix software.
• Experience with newscast production workflows required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, assemble, and deliver daily video-based news segments.
• Assemble the complete newscast in vMix.
• Encode and deliver the finished program by established daily deadline.
