Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks full-time Flex Houseparents (married couples) to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students. The role supports student development in a family-like setting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, and potential for placement in a single home over time.

Couples must meet the two-year marriage requirement, be at least 27, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
