Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
