Job summary

Waypoint is seeking a Shared Living Provider to open their home and support an adult with an Intellectual/Developmental Disability in a family setting. This contract position covers 12 months per year and includes a daily stipend and ongoing training.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 21+ years old, background checks, a clean driving record with a valid license, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience with ID/DD is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age and pass background checks.
• Clean driving record with valid driver's license.
• Experience with ID/DD preferred but not required.
• CPR certification or willingness to training for certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support to an adult with ID/DD in a family setting.
• Support education, employment, recreation, health/mental health, and independent living goals.
• Contracted, ongoing role in the home (12 months per year).
