Job summary

Urban Triage, Inc. seeks a dedicated Emerging Adults Respite Worker to support vulnerable youth aged 18–21 transitioning from foster or residential care or experiencing housing insecurity.

The role is live-in, providing a safe, trauma-informed environment at the Roth Street House, fostering independent living skills, budgeting, and housing readiness. The Respite Worker acts as a positive role model, ensuring meals, routines, and health practices are maintained while upholding the organization’s

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with youth residents of the Roth Street House.
• Model responsible daily living and house routines to residents.
• Be respectful and considerate of youth in the home.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Attend weekly supervision with Operations team.
• Liaise with Operations on youth issues.
• Prioritize residents' best interests and confidentiality.
• Adhere to Urban Triage policies and procedures.
• Resolve minor in-house disputes among residents.
• Perform general admin duties: contracts, logs, day-to-day activities.
• Maintain calendars and databases (HMIS, Keela, Google Suite).
• Lead resident check-ins, training, and development.
• Attend program-related meetings to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
