Job summary

InReach NC is seeking a Residential Manager to supervise a live-in home in Wingate, NC. You will support 5-6 residents with I/DD in daily living activities, train them, and manage a small team of staff. The role requires overnight stays Sunday-Thursday and handling budgets, menus, and transportation.

Typical week is 60–70 hours with benefits including health coverage, PTO, and paid training. Must have a high school diploma and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to supervise others in a positive and professional manner.
• Team player with flexibility to adapt to change.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Teach meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care and hygiene.
• Oversee residents’ health care.
• Coordinate recreational activities and community integration.
• Supervise relief staff.
• Document goals and activities.
• Support residents in developing healthy social habits.
• Assist with medication dispensing and health monitoring.
• Oversee food and gas budgets.
• Be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
