Job summary

SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville, SC seeks a live-in Student Services Coordinator to support the residential high school and summer programs. Under supervision, you will oversee counseling, advocate for student well-being, and help develop a holistic student life curriculum.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) with experience in student services, the ability to supervise staff, and flexible hours including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in student services programs.
• Master’s degree in student service affairs or related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Must be able to supervise personnel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible hours including 2–3 weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, counseling and guidance to promote holistic student development for all students including residential high school and summer programs.
• Collect, maintain and disseminate student data to identify challenges and develop intervention strategies.
• Develop and implement a student life curriculum and activities with instructional goals and recreational events.
• Communicate regularly with campus leadership about incidents, problems and progress.
• Review residential life facilities and equipment, and participate in orientation and check-in processes.
• Assist with room assignments and act as liaison with parents and prospective students.
