Hale Education Group in Westwood, MA is seeking a Ranger & Land Steward to live and work on our 1,200‑acre property, caring for forests, ponds, trails, and youth education programs. As a resident staff member you’ll be the face of Hale and a first responder for emergencies, keeping grounds safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities include site security, facilities maintenance, habitat restoration, trail upkeep, and coordinating groups for education and rentals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of land management, camp maintenance, forestry, or related field.
• Proficiency operating heavy machinery (tractors, chainsaws) and building trades background.
• Valid driver's license required; First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Site security and residential presence; opening/closing and emergencies.
• Facilities maintenance and seasonal infrastructure tasks.
• Conservation and land management including trails and habitat work.
• Programming and community engagement for youth and groups.
