Job summary

Mosser Companies in San Francisco, CA is seeking a part-time on-site Resident Manager to oversee the building and be the first responder to after-hours issues. Compensation is provided as highly reduced or free housing in the building, with occupancy rules applying.

Responsibilities include conducting property walk-throughs, handling after-hours tenant concerns, coordinating vendors, assisting with inspections and move-ins/move-outs, posting notices, enforcing lease rules, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Plumbing experience and electrical knowledge, preferably in high rise buildings.
• 1-2 years of basic facilities and maintenance experience
• Ability to work after business hours and on weekends may be necessary
• Customer service experience required
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy with a commitment to maintaining high building standards
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Property walk-throughs to ensure maintenance and upkeep meet company standards
• Respond to tenant complaints and work order emergencies after hours
• Light cleaning of carpets, laundry rooms, elevators, garbage rooms as needed
• Resolve after-hours lock outs, etc.
• Assist with building inspections with Property Managers
• Move-in orientations and move-out inspections when needed
• Coordinate vendors and contractors in emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with safety rules
• Remain calm during emergencies
• Light cleaning of available rental units as needed
• Post notices as directed by Property Management
• Enforce Apartment Rules as stated in the Lease
• Direct residents on work order submission and coordinate with proper department
• Maintain hourly/daily logs via SynCrew
• Conduct monthly key audit and reporting
• Complete incident reports and submit to Property Manager promptly
• Ensure property is well-maintained
