Job summary

The Cradle Company seeks a responsible live-in nanny in Oakland, CA to care for a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old during a short-term period. The role includes mornings, school-day coverage, after-school help, and weekend supervision in a family home.

Responsibilities cover meals, homework, bedtime routines, and safety; the caregiver will have a private room and needs a clean driving record, CPR/First Aid, and Trustline preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or in progress.
• Trustline registration preferred.
• Must be TDAP vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Morning Routine (7:00–8:30am) for two teens: wake, breakfast, prep, and school drop-off.
• School-Day Coverage: open time while kids at school, no regular duties.
• Afternoon Care: pick up, snacks, and homework transition.
• Evening Routine: dinner prep, oversee homework, tidy kitchen and unload dishwasher.
• Technology & Bedtime: monitor device use, enforce bedtime routines.
• Saturday Care: full-day and overnight care, including activities and supervision.
• Sunday Care: daytime and evening supervision following routines.
• Overnight Support: stay in home overnight as needed.
