Job summary

A family in Atherton, CA is seeking an exceptional long-term career nanny to care for two girls aged 20 months and 3.5 years. The role requires reliability, warmth, and strong judgment, with a schedule Monday through Friday from about 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, plus two Saturdays per month and travel as needed.

Responsibilities include developmentally appropriate care, transportation to school and activities, meal preparation for children, light tidying related to the kids, and occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum nanny/household management experience with verifiable references.
• Current TB, Tdap, and flu vaccines.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care for two children.
• Driving to/from school and activities; supervising swimming.
• Preparing simple, healthy meals; organizing children’s clothing and supplies.
• Light tidying related to the kids; occasional errands.
• Overnights and travel as needed; support family logistics and travel planning; light pet care.
