Job summary

Fortiuscap in Colorado is seeking a proactive Live-in Maintenance and Innkeeper to oversee daily operations and the upkeep of a historic hospitality property, combining hands-on maintenance with guest service.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with historic buildings, and the ability to handle carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs while communicating clearly in English; the role includes live-in accommodation and on-call duties 10pm–8am.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining historic facilities or similar operations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in plumbing system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with carpentry, painting, and historic building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical equipment, and tools.
• Conduct repairs involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and mechanical tasks to keep the property safe and appealing.
• Maintain interior spaces to create a welcoming environment for guests.
