Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks full-time Flex Houseparents—married couples—to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, and supervision for 8–13 students. The role includes daily routines, devotions, transportation, and activity planning within a structured, family-like setting.

The position offers housing, meals while on duty, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training, with a 9 consecutive days on/3 off schedule initially, followed by a Placed

Qualifications

Experience working or volunteering with youth.
Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
Managing household routines and student schedules.
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
Initially supporting various student homes with a 9-on/3-off schedule.
Transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a stable home group.
