Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents, a two-person role for married couples. You live in on-campus student homes with a group of 8–13 students, guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

The schedule is nine days on, three off, with transition to a placed houseparent later. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, supervising medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel services.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Campus must be smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Pets limited to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Lead students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.
