Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will reside in student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students, and ensure their academic, emotional and social development in a structured, family-like environment.

The role transitions to a placed houseparent over time. Two-person teams must be legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
