Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents who are legally married couples. The positions involve living in on-campus student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students.

Couples will follow a nine days on / three days off schedule initially, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role. Housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Initial nine-on, three-off schedule with eventual placement in a single student home.
