Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and mentor a group of 8–13 students. The role is a two-person couple position requiring marriage for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27+.

Duties include supervision, scheduling, and devotions as part of daily life. Flex Houseparents start by supporting multiple homes on a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed home with a consistent student group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
