Delta Gamma Fraternity at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks a dynamic full-time House Director for the Eta Iota Chapter. Live-in role overseeing a 38-woman chapter, with a salary of $40,000–$44,000 and full benefits.

Position starts January 2027 and requires onsite, overnight availability seven nights a week unless arrangements are made. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, supervising staff including the chef, and communicating with LLC management and advisers.

Qualifications

• Previous house director experience required.
• Ability to manage a varied daily/weekly/monthly task schedule.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, alumnae, service providers and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and productive living environment for collegians.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and manage multiple service providers.
• Obtain estimates from local vendors for maintenance repairs.
• Communicate house maintenance issues to the LLC management team.
• Report damages requiring insurance claims and assist in reporting to insurance.
• Oversee contractors including gardeners, housekeepers, and repairs.
• Provide leadership to the chef and oversee food service operations.
• Send a weekly status report to LLC management and the chapter adviser.
