Visiting Angels Springfield, IL is seeking Live-in Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care across the Springfield area. Earn $16–$20/hour with a $400 sign-on bonus and options for full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, including nights and weekends.

We offer flexible scheduling, travel time reimbursement, and a caregiver mentor program with ongoing training. Benefits include paid orientation, PTO, and health/dental/vision insurance.

Formación

• Must be a true caregiver with a passion to serve others.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Own a vehicle with current insurance and a valid driver's license.
• Social Security Card and ability to complete required documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for or accompany clients on shopping trips.
• Perform light housekeeping and provide companionship.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.

Live-in Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
