Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking reliable At Home Caregivers to support seniors in the Macoupin County area. Enjoy flexible shifts, weekly pay, and a welcoming team committed to quality home care.

We offer a $400 sign-on bonus, pay rates from $16 to $20 per hour, differential for nights and weekends, weekly pay, paid orientation, and a caregiver mentor program to support your growth. Join a caring organization that values employee well-being.

Formación

• Must demonstrate passion to serve others as a caregiver.
• Strong knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Able to follow safety standards and dietary considerations.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises and meals planning.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and be a supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents; act quickly in emergencies.

At Home Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

At Home Caregiver Requirements
