Visiting Angels Springfield is hiring an In-Home Personal Aide to support seniors in the Central Illinois area. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, and transportation, while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

This role offers flexible full/part-time hours, weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, differential pay for nights and weekends, mileage reimbursement, and a range of benefits including health, dental, and vision

Qualificações

• Must be a true caregiver dedicated to serving others.
• Knowledge of safety standards and emergency response.
• Own a vehicle with current insurance and valid Social Security Card.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with client input
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

In Home Personal Aide Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

In Home Personal Aide Requirements

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
