Job summary

The University of Olivet is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Residence Life in Olivet, MI. This live-in role supports a 100–300 resident community, assists with housing operations, student development, and leadership activities while pursuing graduate studies.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, programming, crisis response, and documentation. A stipend is provided along with campus housing and meal plan benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires enrollment in a graduate degree program and a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and with others.
• Evening, weekend, and break-period responsibilities; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residence hall operations and housing records.
• Develop and implement programs for student development and community building.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of Resident Assistants.
• Assist with roommate mediation, policy guidance, and conduct processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and crisis response as needed.
• Provide administrative support and maintain accurate records.
