Job summary

Olin College of Engineering invites applications for a Hall Director Graduate Assistant (live-in, 20–25 hours per week). This 12-month, part-time role supports Residence Life, mentors student staff, and assists with Orientation activities.

The position involves on-call rotations, evening/weekend work, and collaboration with campus partners to foster a welcoming, inclusive living-learning community. Compensation includes an hourly wage of $20.00, a partially furnished apartment, a meal plan

Qualifications

• Be a matriculated graduate student (preferred: Counseling, CSP, Higher Education Administration).
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Be able to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
• Experience as RA/CA or similar residential leadership is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned residential community.
• Foster a positive living-learning environment supporting wellbeing and development.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence through regular interactions and campus involvement.
