Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medications administration, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. The nine-on/nine-off schedule transitions to a placed houseparent role with housing and meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple, married at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
