Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of 8-13 students. This is a two-person role for couples who are married at least two years and meet age requirements.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, coordinating routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; alcohol not permitted on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
