Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role involves living in on-campus student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, and activities, plus devotional leadership and Chapel attendance. Qualifications require youth experience, a two-year married status, age 27+, a valid US driver’s license with van-certification eligibility,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
• Initially supporting various student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule, then transitioning to a single home placement
