Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, the couple lives in on-campus student homes and provides care, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

The position begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role; couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
