Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live on campus and supervise a group of 8-13 students, providing guidance, care, and support to promote academic, emotional, and social development.

Initial duties cover nine days on, three off, with transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
