Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance and supervision for a group of 8–13 students living in the home.

The role includes supervising daily routines, guiding academic, emotional and spiritual development, coordinating activities, managing household duties and budgeting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule, leading devotions and attending Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
