Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. You will supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage daily routines, and support student development in a family-like home setting.

The role requires a two-year marriage minimum, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke- and alcohol-free campus. Benefits include health insurance, retirement options, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
