Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus homes, supervising a group of 8-13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and offers a path to placed houseparent status. Typical responsibilities include supervision, routines, medication administration, transport to activities, devotions, chapel participation, and budgeting

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to mentor and supervise students in a residential setting.
• Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
