Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home.

Initially, you will work a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Later, you transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student home and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married relationship for at least two years is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maintain a safe campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
