Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on our Hershey, PA campus. Couples reside in on-campus homes and care for 8–13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially you’ll support multiple student homes with a nine days on, three days off schedule, transitioning to a placed role with a stable home.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Max three dependent children in the student home
• No smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty
• Pets allowed: fish and one dog of approved breeds
• US driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism as role models for students

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting
