Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, guidance, and support for about 8-13 students.

The role includes managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions, budgeting, and reporting. The position offers full benefits, housing, meals on duty, and paid training; couples must be married at least two years and meet age

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married for at least two years.
• Spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to certify to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (no proselytizing).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
