Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

The role includes supervising daily routines, transportation, meals, devotions, and coordinating activities. This is a demanding, rewarding career that requires commitment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.

Skills

Experience working with youth
