Job summary

Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

This two-person role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple requirement.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
