Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents — a two-person role for married couples. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and guiding 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medications, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel. Benefits include housing, meals, healthcare, retirement options, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples in marriage for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
